- making music fun!

If you have been learning a musical instrument for more than a year, then Wymondham Youth Music Society may be just the place for you!

Are you learning a musical instrument?

We do!

Would you like to have fun making music with others?

We all need Friends!

Why not support the work of the society and become a Friend of WYMS?  You’ll be supporting an excellent cause, helping to further the work that we do in encouraging and supporting children as they develop their musical skills. We ask only for a minimum of £10 per year.

If you’d like to join, or want more information, please give our Secretary Linda White a ring on 01953 529158 or drop an e-mail to friends@wyms.org.uk.  Application forms are available on the front desk at tonight’s concert.

An Open Evening…

…for young string players.

If you’ve ever wanted to try playing with other like-minded young musicians, this is for you!

Come along and give it a try – there’s absolutely no obligation to come again if you think it’s not for you. Although we think you might want to!

It’s free, it’s friendly and we guarantee that you’ll have fun!

The evening will take place in the company of experienced players and teachers. We welcome any player who has achieved grade 3/4 or above in the violin, viola, ‘cello or double bass.

If you think this might be for you (or anyone you know who plays a string instrument), then give our secretary Linda White a call on 01953 529158 or drop an e-mail to enquiries@wyms.org.uk

We’ve moved (again!)!

We have recently moved and now hold all our classes in the Function Room within the swanky new Wymondham Rugby Club. This is at the northern end of the new estate off Norwich Common, Wymondham. It’s well signposted.
